This week's Fact Friday Lindsay shares a fact from The Marathon du Médoc.
There is a marathon in the Bordeaux region of France that involves wine, cheese, costumes and scenic views. The Marathon du Médoc is an annual 42.195km run that must be run in fancy dress (in a costume), and involves grand cru wine tastings, live music, and tastings of local specialities including oysters, steak, cheeses, grapes, ice cream. Beware, if you fall behind the “runners brooms” (running the race at 6.30 hours), you will be disqualified!
