It’s challenging to narrow down to just one experience, as my default is to perceive my existence as a struggle! Oh the drama! So to answer, I’d say that any previous struggles (i.e. the specificity of circumstances, timing, environment, people, etc) don’t matter as much as my past struggles are all versions of the same lesson I’m learning this lifetime: I am seen and my presence matters. The growth is on the daily in trying to heal from this narrative and not have it drive my perceptions, as those are the words of my lost childhood messages.
