This is an easy thriller suspense novel that would be a perfect weekend read. It is told through Hannah, the new wife of Owen Michaels who has vanished with merely a short note left behind. At the heart of this story is the dynamic of a step-parent relationship with a teenager, which is complicated at the best of times. The story weaves through Hannah discovering who her husband really is, and not the man she thought she married.
