On this weeks Manuscript Monday Kara recommends "The Paper Bag Princess" by Robert Munsch.
C'mon, it's a classic! I must have made my dad read me this book a million times when I was a kid. To this day, my alter ego is a variation of Princess Elizabeth with her unapologetic and bold attitude. I love how she stands up for herself and tells Ronald off for being a jerk. The girl's got standards and is not afraid to live by her ethics. Plus, there's a dragon who gets out-smarted by a child - he can have all the fire power in the world, but he's no match for Elizabeth's charm and determination.
